Next exit: Asteroid City.

Seven-time Oscar nominee Wes Anderson is back with his latest offering, a fanciful yarn set in a fictional desert town in 1955 and revolving around the attendees of a Junior Stargazer/Space Cadet convention. Appropriately so, the cast is perhaps the auteur's most starry yet.

Asteroid City stars Jason Schwartzman, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hanks, Jeffrey Wright, Tilda Swinton, Bryan Cranston, Edward Norton, Adrien Brody, Liev Schreiber, Hope Davis, Stephen Park, Rupert Friend, Maya Hawke, Steve Carell, Matt Dillon, Hong Chau, Willem Dafoe, Margot Robbie, Tony Revolori, Jake Ryan, and Jeff Goldblum — an ensemble that comprises equal parts Anderson regulars and newcomers.

Anderson directs his own screenplay, written from a story he conceived with frequent collaborator Roman Coppola. (They previously worked together on The Darjeeling Limited and The French Dispatch, as well as the Oscar-nominated films Moonrise Kingdom and Isle of Dogs.)

Asteroid City arrives in theaters on June 16. Watch the trailer below.
