Joker: Folie à Deux has officially wrapped filming, with a release date slated for Oct. 4, 2024. After weeks of shooting on location in New York City, director Todd Phillips marked the occasion by sharing new photos of Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga in character as Arthur Fleck and Harleen Quinzel, aka Harley Quinn, respectively. Folie à Deux, translated as "madness for two," will seemingly center on the complicated romance between the titular Clown Prince of Crime and his one-time physiatrist at Arkham Asylum. Zazie Beetz, Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener and Harry Lawtey also star in the sequel.

"That's a wrap. Thanks to these two (+ the entire cast) and the BEST crew that the film industry has to offer. From top to bottom," Phillips wrote on Instagram. "Gonna crawl into a cave now (edit room) and put it all together."
