Disney ventured to infinity and beyond in this summer's Lightyear, but the adventure past space and time to a place of infinite mystery continues with Strange World, as revealed in the movie's official trailer.

Jake Gyllenhaal voices Searcher Clade, the son of a legendary explorer who finds himself in way over his head when his family embarks on a mission into uncharted and oftentimes deadly lands. There, the Clades will contend with fantastical creatures, otherworldly threats and — perhaps most precarious of all — their own differences.

Dennis Quaid lends his voice to Searcher's larger-than-life father, Jaeger Clade, with Jaboukie Young-White as his adventurous teenage son, Ethan Clade; Gabrielle Union as Meridian Clade, Searcher's partner and a natural-born leader; and Lucy Liu as Callisto Mal, president of Avalonia and the leader of the exploration into this strange world.

"I'm loving this family reunion," Liu's character says in the preview, "but c'mon! We've got a world to save!"

Don Hall (a Best Animated Feature Oscar winner for Big Hero 6 and nominee for Raya and the Last Dragon) directs alongside writer and co-director Qui Nguyen, with whom he worked on Raya. The movie also reunites Hall with Oscar-winning producer Roy Conli, following their collaboration on Big Hero Six.

Strange World lands in theaters on November 23. Watch the trailer below.
